We carry many Driver, Fairway Wood and Hybrid shafts. We carry adapters to fit most drivers including Taylor Made, Ping, Titleist and Callaway. We can also change adapters from one shaft to another. For example, take a shaft from a Ping to a Taylor Made.

I was a direct dealer for AeroTech Golf Shafts distributed from Bellingham. In 2019 AeroTech was purchased by True Temper. I am now a direct dealer for all True Temper Products. I play 80 grams Steel Fiber shafts in my irons. I am not alone for on the PGA and Champions Tours some of the best known players playing Steel Fiber are Matt Kuchar, Brandt Snedeker, and Fred Couples. Steel or Graphite?

We have been asked and helped to answered this question many times. It all comes down to the players decision. The correct type of shaft depends on the player and his/her goals, body strength, clubhead acceleration, clubhead speed, and appearance. First, let us talk about some misconceptions.
  • The flex of a golf shaft is not dependent upon material. The most flexible shaft I ever hit was made of Steel.
  • Not all Graphite shafts are the same weight and not all Steel shafts are the same weight either. When I take a player through a custom fitting, I have them swing up to seven different weight shafts.
  • Normally Graphite shafts are lighter than Steel, but a Tour weight Graphite shaft is 110 grams which is heaver in weight than a light weight Steel shaft.
There are three main differences between Steel and Graphite.
  • Weight: The range for a Steel shaft is 85 - 130 grams and the Graphite shaft is 45 - 125 grams.
  • Vibration Reduction: Graphite allows less vibrations to reach the player's hands and arms.
  • Cost: Normally a steel shaft cost less, but that was until Project X and some KBS Products
